Certified Professional Landman (CPL), with a B.B.A. in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University's, Rawls College of Business. Currently managing our South Texas and New Mexico assets while evaluating prospects and generating new opportunities for Black Mountain headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.Prior to joining Black Mountain, I was a Senior Landman for Apache Corp. where my responsibilities included managing an active drill schedule with multiple rigs in the Delaware Basin. I helped create substantial value for Apache by acquiring significant leasehold positions, managing legacy owned assets, and executing creative acreage trades in the Permian Basin. Previous scope of work includes: managing an active rig line(s) in Texas & NM, negotiating/drafting Oil & Gas Leases & JOA's, PSAs, contracts/agreements, Acquisitions & Divestitures, Business Development, data trades, running mineral title from patent to present, ArcMap GIS, royalty calculations, Pooling (TX), Compulsory Pooling (NM), curing title defects, regulatory and managing brokers.
