Currently working on "Magic: The Gathering - Arena". I work with designers, engineers, and other members of the team to gather, clarify, and visualize UI and UX requirements for everything from individual features to entire game style guides.I create many original 2D and UI animation assets in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Unity.I work regularly with the Art Director and Executive Producer to own the vision for the UI and adapt it to both the needs of development iteration and live game feature addition and change.I create and update style guides, comps, reference sheets, and wireframes to aid others in achieving the desired outcome and to encourage feedback from a plethora of various points of view - especially from a player's POV and not a designer's.I play the game frequently to find and constantly refine the player UX pain points until the game’s user experience flows smoothly and beautifully from action to action.I also mentor other artists in the techniques and best practices of UI visualization so that the entire art team gains an appreciation and increased understanding of the discipline.
