Serving as an embedded Senior Assistant Resident Engineer on the Complete 540 Projects.-Responsible for supervising and supporting CEI staff from various firms on all active phases of the project.-Communicate with Contractor personnel, inspection staff, and supervisors to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Contract and NCDOT Specifications.-Maintain records and documentation in HiCAMS and SharePoint in accordance with NCDOT policies and procedures. This includes preparation of monthly pay estimates, drafting and documenting Supplemental Agreements, and facilitating the review and approval of Submittals and RFI's.

As a Transportation Technician II/III on the Complete 540 Project, some of my responsibilities include:-Work together with a diverse group of technicians to ensure all project needs are met and Contractor is in compliance with applicable specifications. -Interpret plans, shop drawings, and other Construction documents to inspect all work performed. -Inspect work performed by Contractor to ensure conformance with Standard Specifications of North Carolina and any special provisions applicable to the Complete 540 Project. -Update all paperwork and payment documents for materials received and work performed in a timely manner.-Communicate with my peers and supervisors in a timely and efficient manner to keep up with the fast pace of construction on a project of this size. -Being flexible and ready for any new responsibilities my supervisors may ask me to take on to satisfy the needs of the project.
