Worked closely with the chef and owner to give the customers a quality experience. On a daily basis we would prep for our evening service, with most menu items being made from scratch. It wasn't that busy of a location, but that just allowed me to pay close attention to detail, and communicate with the front of house to ensure the customers had a good time and a good meal.

I worked at Jersey Mikes for a good portion of my work experience. I started working the line, but ended up working through the ranks and eventually became the General Manager of three locations. Needless to say this was a lot of work. I had to keep each location staffed with at least 12 employees, and keep everyone trained on any corporate changes. In this position I also did all of the orders and scheduling, and proudly kept the P&L within the parameters the owner of the locations had given me. It wasn't always the best job, but it pulled me out of my shell and really opened me up to how good working with a team could be.
