We investigated the potential for commercialization of metabolic engineering technologies that have been developed in the Chappell lab. These technologies focus on sustainable/alternative production methods for triterpene oils. I am continuing projects that I worked on as part of my PhD and working towards improving our microbial production systems for the compounds we are interested in.
