Writing and creating has been a passion of mine since grade school. Now, I am putting the skills I have developed into practice at WZDX-TV (FOX54) in Huntsville, ALI’ve spent about 7 years between WAFF-TV in Huntsville, Spectrum News in Austin, TX and WFTX-TV in Cape Coral, FL producing articles, interactive media and editing videos for their respective websites, as well as maintaining and updating social media posts and all forms of digital products. Our goal at the web desk is to bring in page views/clicks while being users' go-to destination for breaking news and continuing coverage. I can say without hesitation or reservation that my way with words helped attract and retain visitors to our sites and mobile devices.I have also helped produce on-air coverage across all day parts during my time in Florida, including between 1-3 hours of a 5-hour morning newscast and rolling severe/tropical storm coverage.During my time at FOX54 I have broadened my horizons to occasional reporting. I do locally-focused items for the TEGNA group's "VERIFY" initiative among other local items.
