We envision a community that reflects the diversity/uniqueness of our lived and shared experiences to create empathy in how we relate to one another. We uphold a culture of commitment and accountability that aligns with our mission to self-reflect, learn, and improve our relationships, workplace climate, and the Gwinnett community. My purpose/impact includes:• Conducted a holistic, systemic analysis of the Gwinnett Chamber’s mission and goals with its practices, and of organizational challenges around centering equity• Created a DE&I mission and vision statement and a Policy Handbook for staff implementation of DE&I efforts• Reviews systems, policies, procedures, and norms that create structural barriers to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color• Develops programs and experiences that support workforce challenges and encourage continuous learning and growth• Partners with businesses to drive implementation of and use of DE&I educational opportunities• Creates and coordinates internal communications and social media campaigns relating to trends and events for DE&I Show less
