I worked at Unrivaled through the transition from JDHgroup. One of the most exciting digital + creative agencies out there. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the great creative minds this world has to offer. Unrivaled brings experiential environments to a whole new level through digital and dimensional means. I worked as a client advocate and helped develop the right strategy for our clients to engage with their audience through experiential means.

Fluid was a small agency gearing up to become a major player when I joined the team. We went through a strategic rebrand and rebuilt our operations to better serve the clients. I had the opportunity to help in the development of the new business model, managing accounts and teams, and bringing on new business. I developed great communication and management skills that helped create a highly engaged culture. This team is continuing to output great work.

This was my first entrepreneur experience. I had worked at my uncle's flooring store for several years, wanted to finish my schooling and unleash the entrepreneur spirit that was tormenting me each year. So... I started a carpet cleaning business and leveraged my contacts and uncle's store to launch it. I successfully raised financing, purchased equipment, established marketing alliances, managed business finances, loans, marketing, billing and collections. We broke even the very first year and grew every year. It was an incredible start to entrepreneurship and gave me real experience in small business.

After my first entrepreneur experience I wanted to learn all that I could about business. I chose to do this by joining a national ad agency. I got to hear and learn from multiple industry leaders about business, marketplace and audience. I leaned how to identify your target audience and engage with them through various communication techniques. I carefully managed, nurtured and built client relationships for bottom line growth. Assisted in marketing strategy, brand & campaign development and advertising for multiple companies across several industries.

The first real job. This was a fun, crazy, and exciting gig. Retail can be very difficult and stressful, but you get to work with so many different people and learn so much about yourself. I worked here during the heyday of flooring and construction right before the recession of 2008/09. It was an exciting time for business. I learned some key sales skills and how to really develop a relationship of trust with all of your customers. This was my first experience building strategic partnerships.
