I am a Student-Athlete and pre-physical therapy student at the University of Alaska Anchorage with various skills and experience. I once was told that generalization is something that should be done early on before specializing. As one can see from the variety of places I have worked and volunteered, I am a well-versed individual. What are my strengths as an individual?According to the Clifton Strengths finder survey:1. Ideation - "People who are especially talented in the Ideation theme are fascinated by ideas. They are able to find connections between seemingly disparate phenomena."2. Belief - "People who are especially talented in the Belief theme have certain core values that are unchanging. Out of these values emerges a defined purpose for their life."3. Restorative - "People who are especially talented in the Restorative theme are adept at dealing with problems. They are good at figuring out what is wrong and resolving it."4. Futuristic - "People who are especially talented in the Futuristic theme are inspired by the future and what could be. They inspire others with their visions of the future."5. Strategic - "People who are especially talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues."I plan to take these strengths and experiences with me to venture into the world of Physical Therapy. I find my passion for exercise and sport has piqued my interest in the human body's function, and how we can be healthy. I want to take what I learn to better the lives around me.
