Being the youngest of three brothers, I learned how to fight for what I want at a very young age. This mindset helped me work hard and earn both my Bachelors in Software Engineering and my Masters in Computer Science while playing college basketball. I enjoy being outdoors, I have a deep love for traveling, and I am always up for a new challenge. If you had asked me when I was 10yrs old what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have told you that I wanted to be astronaut (and I still do). Being an astronaut blends all of my favorite things into one job: technology, travel, exploration, challenges, problem solving, leadership, and the unknown. Also, I can only imagine that as an astronaut, no two days are ever the same. Though being a Sales Engineering Manager is not even close to being as cool as an astronaut, I have found that it still blends all of my favorite things that I mentioned above: - A passion for technology and figuring out creative ways to share it with others- The challenge of creating custom solutions to meet a customer’s needs- Meeting and partnering with new people - Working cross-functionally with coworkers to align on product strategy- Leading those around me and leading through changeAs a Sales Engineer, I am able to leverage my technical background in iOS and Android development, UI/UX design, behavioral analytics, predictive analytics, and data analysis. Further, I am able to pair those skills with my strengths in sales, leadership, verbal and written communications, targeted presentations, and teamwork.
