Motived, dependable, and independent professional with a solid background in Administration, Management, Affordable Housing, Domestic Security Preparedness and a growing proficiency in Emergency Management Practices. I came from a fifteen year back ground in low income housing for elderly and disabled populations. I works under both USDA and HUD programs to housing low income families. I worked up from assistant to manager and even higher into a corporate office position. I was an active member of the Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association (SAHMA) for many years; in my later years acting as trade show chair for the annual meetings and then as the meeting coordinator for two years prior to moving on to new opportunities. After many years in the private sector I ventured into State Government. I found a position with FDLE working with Domestic Security Preparedness that sparked my interest. I worked in my first position with FDLE for about a year before I was promoted up to the next position. A change in leadership after a few years brought about my desire to grow so I began looking to new adventures. I found a new adventure and home with the Division of Emergency Management. There is never a dull moment around here as there is always something to do or a project to be part of.
