My name is Chasity and I am currently a night House Supervisor and ED RN. If experience is what you're looking for, I've got it! Throughout my 13 years in the nursing field, I have worked and been cross-trained to multiple departments, such as post-surgical/oncology, express care, telemetry, medical, PCU, pre-op, GI lab, PACU, pain clinic, and the ED. When I first became a nurse, my goal was to learn as much about as many departments as I could so I could use that experience and knowledge to be a better leader down the road. Experience is the best way to learn! I also take pride in being a great listener and a transparent leader. Another great way to learn and better an organization is to listen to co-workers and staff to gain other opinions and ideas on how to improve ourselves and organizations.
