Follow GAAP in daily operations. Supervise Revenue, encumbrance , expenditures and Journal Entries for all Proprietary accounts. Daily Interfacing between Utility Billing and General Ledger and balancing between funds, Make adjusting daily and monthly entries. Pay inter-funds from AR Utility Billing collections. Monitor Financials for Gas, Water, Sewer and Sanitation departments. Do Payroll Entries. Reconcile nine bank statements monthly, including General Fund and all Utility Accounts. Perform cash management, and reconcile asset and liability accounts. Create and distribute monthly financials for City Administrator and Board approval. Lead and coordinate in all accounting, UB software changes, upgrades, etc.. Certified Municipal Finance Officer Certificate from The State of Tennessee Comptroller Division
