• Auditing money order reports and noting improper procedures• Verifying daily deposits and compiling the missing and non-verified deposits list.• Reviewing voids and refunds• Verifying lottery sales and payouts to the stores terminal reports• Auditing miscellaneous expenses and revenues which include coupons, pre-paid products, food stamps and car wash sales• Ensuring that all invoices have been accurately keyed and margins are correct; research and enter corrections as needed• Communicating with the Store Managers or Field Management Personnel about necessary corrections or discovered discrepancies via phone, e-mail and audit system• Auditing all retail adjustments which include quantity discounts, store use, promotions, and bad merchandise• Verifying that the audit counts are correct and that they are entered by the department on the correct day• File all related paper work accurately and timely• Trouble shooting and problem solving• Assisting other team members complete audits and projects as needed• Performing other duties as required
