Worked with designers and artists to bring their UI visions to life.- Helped implement early gameplay systems when the project was in pre-production.- Integrated Nvidia's Ansel into ParagonFortnite - Gameplay/UI (2012 - 2014)- Initially worked on UI, helping to implement HUD, Inventory, and other major screens.- Designed and implemented "Weak Spot" harvesting mini-game, and was listed as the inventor on the associated patent.- Designed and implemented Trap Placement system, working with artists to get visuals and feel correct.- Voluntarily worked nights and weekends to design, prototype, and implement many new features in the game.- Was the Primary Missions Programmer, supporting four designers and helping them bring their designs to fruition.

• Gameplay Programmer for Scribblenauts, hugely popular franchise with over 4 million copies sold.• Ramped up quickly and implemented various gameplay and UI features.• Owned the design and implementation of the lead new feature of Super Scribblenauts, ‘Adjectives’, from end to end, from the dictionary tool that defined the game data, to the UI system where you type in ‘Red Angry Flaming Panda’, to the multi-language parsing and spellchecking, to the gameplay and rendering code that actually makes a red, angry, flaming panda appear in the game.• Beyond my regular programming responsibilities, I conceived of, designed, prototyped, pitched, and implemented several key gameplay and UI features.• Spearheaded overhauls in our milestone delivery process, increasing programmer and QA efficiency.• Identified and solved designer work flow issues, taking designer iteration time for changes to data down from 7 minutes to 0.5 seconds.• My prototyping efforts have become so prevalent that I now own and maintain a personal branch of the project just for prototyping designs.
