Creating sculpture involves everything I have learned through decades of visual communication. It's more than design. It's about experience. What I try to accomplish with my sculptures is a sense of suspense. The space created by a form invites you to move around the sculpture and experience it from additional perspectives. When you move completely around to your original position, you have been engaged. Space is the equivalent of the unanswered question at the end of every scene in a film. It is the driving force that draws you forward, into the plot. With sculpture, you are not sitting idly in a chair. You are actively engaged in discovery. See examples:

I turn abstract ideas into something: Visible. Tangible. Actionable. I help my partners visualize and realize their thoughts. Entrepreneurial concepts, engineering concepts, fine art concepts. What turns me on is moving an idea from raw to real. The thrill is in the process. The result is a record of the of the communication and interaction of the participants. I've worked in fine art, mostly 2-dimensional, for my entire life. The opportunity to work with master sculptor, Marty Eichinger is an incredible creative opportunity. The projects are big and imaginative. Our team is a group of diverse, incredibly talented problem solvers. I feel right at home. When I leave Eichinger's studio, I return to my own for several more hours of sculpture or painting. Life is good!
