Whatever distress I experienced growing up in suburbia was quickly assuaged by dismantling and reassembling the nearest mechanical contrivance.So, I've always been a Mechanic.The fortune of having a musical artist as my best friend brought me in to the music business where I found a passion difficult to ignore. I came to be useful as a business partner, promoter, agent, manager and doer of things that must be done.So, I can see what needs to be done and do it.Survival income necessity lured me into an entry level HVAC job with a motion picture exhibitor (movie theatres🤓). There, I became trapped by the mechanical trades amidst an oblique taunting by the arts.So, I never really had a plan.Thirty years later I yearn. For a chance to touch again the public awareness of rhythm and sound; the presentation of show that stirs and lifts the emotions to lofty realms. Add to this, a wife with a sublime singing and songwriting talent to further chart the inevitable course back to latent passions.So, leaving behind apparently useless music industry skills, I thrash at the keys and pluck the strings or frame the shot and scene, hoping the genie will appear, to guide me on through a landscape where I may have no natural talent.
