Senior Accounting Clerk
CurrentTitle: Senior AccountantJob Description:The Senior Accountant position is a key role within our organization, responsible for managing various accounting functions and providing financial guidance to the company. This role requires a high level of integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:1. Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.2. Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, and ensure adherence to the budget throughout the year.3. Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of accounts.4. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.5. Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and training.6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.7. Participate in internal and external audits.8. Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.9. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.4. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.7. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.8.
