Responsible for tracking daily, weekly and monthly sales goals both individually and for the store as whole. Detailed product knowledge as well as specialized selling techniques are used in order to achieve sales goals. Operational paperwork regarding sales numbers reporting, shipments, supply orders and weekly inventory counts are completed on a regular basis. Store is cleaned, organized and merchandised on a daily basis. Appointment Book for the in-store barber shop is also kept for scheduling services and collecting client contact information.

Job position included using in-store product knowledge to achieve sales goals. A client base was also managed to contact repeat customers about latest product designs, store rewards program and discount/sale offerings. Store displays were designed and set-up according to the store’s latest product promotion. Security Clearance Contract work with the Smithsonian Institution: National Museum of Natural History, Washington, DC. Designed and produced artifact brackets for the new David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins. In addition, I reviewed design drawing sets with several project managers to coordinate bracket production and requirements made by artifact conservator.

Baltimore, Maryland Area

Worked with AUTOCAD software to produce and edit construction documents for multiple building projects. Construction documents included building plans, site information and local building code summaries. Construction documents were assimilated within a team for large projects and for smaller projects I worked as a project manager, designing and drawing the building from beginning to end. As an intern, I studied the local Maryland building codes and acquainted myself with newer building techniques, materials and architectural styles.

Full operation of the cash register, cleaning and shelf re-stocking were other daily duties that were fulfilled.
