The story of my art begins with the story of my life. From the childhood without a teacher I've tried to learn and explore the world of painting though many efforts. Studied different fields, Business Management, Law etc etc but finally end-up with the colors.Started from the South Asia's Sri Lanka and reached the most exclusive destinations of the World with my creations.  Overlooking and handling the Factoring Non- performing portfolio in order to maintain healthy NPL limits and impairment levels (Maintaining a NPL of 2.6 presently which is a best level in the sector) Litigation – Overlooking the Factoring Litigation process, taking effective legal actions against crucial Non- performing clients, handling the court works, coordinating and selecting respective counsels, participating in legal consultations, representing the company in relevant courts and executing respective court orders and judgments ( Able to receive court judgments within the shortest period of the company’s history so far and executed) Negotiating relevant effective recovery plans with Non-performing high exposure clients and following up the agreed recovery settlement plans. (Broad knowledge in developing effective recovery plans in order to maintain a minimum written off balances) Overlooking the Debtor management process of the product. Handling and following up the documentation process, maintaining corporate relationship with the debtors, handling debtor issues and visiting overall debtors in order to maintain healthy debtor payment collections. Overlooking and monitoring the collection process of the debtor payments.

In charge for the Matara region recovery portfolio. Handling & Following up the Factoring Non performing Portfolio of the company. Handling and Negotiating with the Corporate Non performing clients and executing effective recovery settlement plans by obtaining the relevant Director Board approvals. In charge of the litigation procedures for the relevant Factoring Non performing clients.  Handling and following up the Loan portfolio of the company. Handling and following up Non-Performing clients with effective recovery methods. Coordination between Recovery and Legal Departments. Following up and handling the clients in the legal stage. Attending to all the District and Magistrate Courts on cases against the company & other various matters. Handling & Following up the Consent Motion and Writ stage portfolio of the company. Executing writs island wide and recovering write off cases after court judgments were granted. Handling and following up the police cases and hard core investigating cases & coordinating with the relevant bodies. Preparing the write off reports, NPL reports and other MIS reports of the Factoring products.

Pre- Legal Recoveries DepartmentPre Legal Recovery Department functions as an independent specialized recovery arm focused on Non-performing cases and hard-core recovery cases where the Recovery Department is unable to recover or to litigate the cases of their own. The main function of this department is to tackle the hard core cases and disposal losses by introducing permanent and acceptable recovery solutions. Pre Legal Recovery Department also functions as the filtering department prior to take legal actions.Key Responsibilities:-Initiated and Implemented Pre Legal functions , processes and strategies to the company’s Recovery Process successfully as an effective Process against Non Performing Lease & Loan portfolio.•Handling the Non- performing & Hard Core Recovery Cases.•Negotiating with non performing clients.•Coordination between Recovery and Legal Departments.•Streamline the Recovery Documentation supports to the Legal process.•Analyzing the files which transfer to the Legal Department.•Following up the Consent Motion and Writ execution.•Following up and handling the clients in the legal stage.•Following up repossession and handling and the disposals.Key Achievements:-Under Pre Legal Operation I have fully recovered assets which were in Non -Performing stage for longer period by using special recovery techniques (Investigations, CID, SCIB & Hard Core Recovery)

•Handling, Monitoring Supervising and authorizing the back office, Head office recovery & calling cent re recovery staff.•Coordinating with branch recovery officers regarding various recovery issues.(Ros, arrears payments, block releasing, full settlements, Insurance refunds and other document releasing)•Authorization of Re-processing Orders, Approving of Insurance refunds, Insurance no objection letters, Bank Confirmations of the Clients,Vehicle yard letters for handing over vehicles, releasing vehicles and selling vehicles and authorizing the official legal accounts statements for the Legal recovery operations.•Carrying out any other appropriate duties as assigned by the Senior Management Team.•Coordinating with all the other departments in superior level in respective issues, meetings and discussions.

•Handled Dealer Re-financing (It’s a short term loan facility provided to David Peiris Motor Bicycle Dealers Island wide.) •Monitoring and handling daily operations. I was handling 103 Dealers Island Wide.•Co operating with Marketing Staff in order to maintain the Monthly Targets.•Coordinating, Handling the Dealers regarding the arrears and Loan Settlements.•Maintaining and handling the Security Documents.•Involved active Telemarketing for the Dealers Branch wise.
