- Commissioned commercial scale reduced graphene oxide and graphene oxide plant which was recognized as one of the best quality Graphene Manufacturing Facilities in the world.- Installation and commission of main unit operations & common utilities- Designed operation process sequences to integrate into the HMI systems.- Streamlined the process (Designed PFDs, P&IDs for the plant) Main process, utilities, waste treatment- Prepared SOPs for the plant handover (Sections -Chemical Safety, Operation, and utilities)- Standardized coding system for the plant according to the safety and operations of the plant.- Preparation of plant equipment catalogs- Trained plant operators according to the safety aspects and conducting chemical & process safety sessions for them.Slow-release Urea Project- Involved in the renovation of slow-release urea plants (Refabrication of unit operations, Auxiliary equipment selection)- Led machineries improvements to optimize the operations (Spray dryer)- Designed a storage infrastructure and supervised fabrication- Estimated energy consumption, operation cost and capital cost to decide the product market values- Supervised the plant commission & production- Designed process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagram, and plant layout. The ORAGAN 1.0 Cube Satellite was successfully launched from Dambulla D.S. Senanayake School playground on the 26th of December 2021, by adhering to all the conditions imposed by the Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation Authority. The purpose of the satellite was to conduct near-space and environmental experiments.
