I have a flair for international liaison as an experienced foreign commercial lawyer and a former In-House Counsel.As a language specialist, I can incorporate the English language into the Japanese workplace, effectively liaise with overseas offices, and increase positive awareness for the organization in the community. I am trilingual (English, Filipino, intermediate Japanese) and a licensed Philippine lawyer with a business degree. As a licensed Philippine lawyer, I have had over 10 years of business consultancy experience, with 5 years as Legal Counsel 社内弁護士 in the Manila offices of multinational corporations – the Japanese Shimizu Corporation 清水建設 and Australian Leighton Contractors. With my legal background and 20 years work experience, I now also give back to the community as an active volunteer for non-profits in Japan.
