From I very early age I‘ve had the gift of being creative & during my teens I knew I wanted a career in art & design. Due to family pressure I was never encouraged to focus or follow my passion & dreams, instead encouraged to follow a path in a scientific career path, which my heart was never in. Art & design was seen as a subject or career path that was negativity seen by the older generation so it was something that was dismissed & hence not allowed to Persue. During the last 20 years I have had a very successful career in medical sales & running my own chauffeur company for 7 years. During my working career I have always kept my artistic passion alive by sketching super hero characters, creating things from clay & 3D printing movie props. I was responsible for designing my companies logo, website, business card, leaflet creation and responsible for all social media marketing & content & it work extremely well & in return generated a lot of business. More recently my wife has launched her new dog grooming business & I have been responsible for all content creation & marketing. By doing this, I have seen how engaging my design work can be to influence clients to use our services. Being able to create everything from scratch has saved costs, time & enabled my skills to grow with in graphic design sector. For the past few months I have been lost & looking for a new career path. Up until recently, I decided to take on board advice from family & focus on a career in illustration & graphic design. It’s a no brainier, this has always been me, recently friends & family have been encouraging me to go into illustration & graphic design, as they would give me the task to design them logo’s or create invite cards. I have always had the skills & talent for it so it just makes sense for me to turn my love & passion for creativity into a career & get paid to do what I’m good at.So that’s me, not only am I good at art, I am also entrepreneurial. I am looking to work with a design agency where I can learn from with in the team and exceed in my skill set.
