I work for United Airlines as a Senior Analyst in Continuous Improvement and Enterprise Optimization department which functions as an internal consultant with primary focus on providing innovative solutions to support all divisions of the airline. Since joining United, I have been involved in several projects such as demand forecasting for developing a robust revenue management system, estimating MileagePoint redemption rate to support financial auditing. My primary role in all the involved projects has been developing and validating statistical models using data driven approaches. As a doctoral student I was involved in several transportation related research projects with the aim of providing scientific and implementable solutions to state and federal agencies to improve both traffic safety and operations.
