Created new features in customer facing application using C#, VB.net, and Web API v2.Lead initiative to provide SSO functionality to external partner through existing web application. This was accomplished by creating a WCF Service to interact securely via certificates with SSO IDP to allow verification of SSO requests from external partners.Lead initiative to develop a REST API interface to allow easy data access to core system areas so customers could manage data using the API instead of having to be logged into the application directly. In addition, this allowed easier integration with third party applications.Lead initiative to provided SSO from existing application to outbound partner applications. This was accomplished by generating SAML tokens from within the application to pass to external partners for seamless sign-on experiences for customers.Lead back-end integration efforts between multiple products to drive a cohesive user experience. One such integration involved an integration with an applicant tracking system which allowed a potential hire to seamlessly provide application data from one application to the other and be able to view it in either location. Items such as name, contacts, phone numbers, address, etc. were synchronized between a payroll application and an on-boarding module.Maintained Java layer for consuming SAML tokens and directing use traffic appropriately. This included adding/updating servlets and back end code.

Primarily worked on creating and updating features in their flagship application using Tomcat, Java, Groovy, Hibernate, Spring, and more. Performed regular maintenance of the application and coded defect corrections. Responsible for creating/modifying automated unit tests for my work using the TestNG Framework. One example feature I developed was a new process that involved integrating with Google Apps and Amazon S3 to allow automated data exchange and imports between clients and Edufficient. This new process/integration relieved developers and account managers from having to manually receive emails with attachments and spend countless hours massaging data in order to be able to successfully import it into the existing application.
