I’m a Pakistani born, Canadian immigrant who grew up as a third culture kid globally across 6 different countries. Embracing and adapting to a new culture every few years taught me the value of leading with empathy, perpetually learning, and cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment for all.Along the way, I developed an endless curiosity for the world and a deep-rooted passion for sport culture. Everywhere I lived was unique, but sport was the great equalizer that connected us all. This spark has led to a rewarding career in the sports industry, where I have spent the last 9+ years making an impact cross-functionally in multiple countries. Following the blueprint of my upbringing, I have mapped out a diverse career path across account management, operations, analytics, digital, assortment planning, category merchandising, and now at the core of my passions – product creation.Taking the scenic route throughout my journey has enabled me to possess the rare mix of business and creative skillsets that are required in the art and science of bringing great product to life. With a Master’s degree in Sports Product Management, I am building on my global experiences by using product as a vehicle for telling meaningful stories while leading, empowering and inspiring others.
