I have found that the enjoyment I get out of problem solving is directly proportional to the complexity of the problem. I thrive on challenge. My Objective:Advance technology R&D, strengthen training and communications across teams and with end-users and stakeholders. I believe that Communication is the root of all successes and of all failures. My Background:I began my journey into digital media during elementary school, making stop-motion animations for school projects and for fun. (Oh, the things one can do with 8mm cassettes, a camcorder, and VCR!) In middle school I began exploring the world of Computer Animation and in high school was encouraged by my bio teacher to pursue my interests in creative storytelling with technology. My next step after conquering computer animation was teaching myself computer programming in high school, which I followed with computer science classes in college and graduate school, in addition to my studies in Communications and minor in Computational Linguistics. My Master's degree in Instructional Design furthered my training in this field of utilizing technology for Communications and Education. I also enjoy the sub-fields of: Cyber-Security, Human-Computer Interaction, and Natural Language Processing (Machine Learning & Computational Linguistics).Soft-Skills and Achievements:• Creative out-of-the-box thinker• Fueled by challenge and enjoys problem-solving• Strong team player• Leader with team focus and proponent for diversity• Elected and appointed Project Lead and Project CEO by professor and peers• Autodidactic with an unquenchable thirst for learning• Founded and led expansion of Communication Technology start-up, increasing client-base by 65% in the first year of expansionIn addition to my passion for Communication Technology, I also enjoy writing, public speaking, cycling, travelling and world cultures, and Taekwondo.
