I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisville, where I developed a strong interest in urban issues, social justice, and community engagement. I am currently the Manager of Advocacy and Health Policy at Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE), a nonprofit organization that works to improve the environmental health and well-being of women and families in the Pittsburgh region.In my role at WHE, I lead and coordinate various policy and advocacy initiatives and campaigns that address environmental and public health challenges, such as air quality, lead exposure, climate change, and environmental justice. I also work with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, community leaders, health professionals, and media outlets, to raise awareness and mobilize action on these issues. Some of my recent achievements include securing a large grant from the Heinz Endowments to support WHE's policy and advocacy work, facilitating a coalition of over 50 organizations to advocate for a statewide lead testing mandate, and contributing to the development of a regional climate action plan. I am passionate about using my skills and experience in legislative research, government relations, and legislative policy to create positive and lasting change for women and families in our region.
