Accomplished nonprofit leader with over 30 years of experience in advancing mission-driven initiatives, community engagement, and strategic fundraising. For the past 6 years with the Arthritis Foundation, I've directed impactful events, advocacy efforts, and mission activities to improve the lives of those affected by arthritis, the leading cause of disability in the U.S., impacting nearly 60 million adults and hundreds of thousands of children.In my role, I oversee a diverse range of signature fundraising and awareness events, including the Charity Auto Show, Walk to Cure Arthritis, Annual Jingle Bell Run, and Charity Golf Classic. Each event brings together thousands in the community, generating essential funds for research and resources while amplifying our mission to conquer arthritis. In Ohio alone, these events engaged nearly 8,000 participants in 2023, raising awareness and funds to support over 2.3 million Ohioans living with arthritis.Beyond events, I drive the Foundation’s mission activities, such as Arthritis@Work and the Ease of Use program, which provide workplace solutions and accessibility resources, impacting over 1.1 million employees nationwide. I’m also deeply involved in our advocacy initiatives, which in Ohio include a robust network of over 9,800 advocates working to improve policies on access to care, step therapy reform, and copay assistance.With a keen focus on quality and detail in project management, donor engagement, and volunteer recruitment, I strive to foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and measurable impact.
