A decade of working in social business development throughout Africa and Indonesia has led me to co-found gnuGrid CRB. We are the only Ugandan credit reference bureau licensed to work in the informal financial sector (90% of the market). Our goal is provide borrowers the opportunity to prove credit worthiness. And lenders the ability to make informed decisions based on qualitative data. I started off working in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation of exotic species. I headed down the rabbit hole of finding solutions to entrenched issues. Leading me to specialize in international SME social business development. My primary focus has been the vertical integration of profitability with environmental and social responsibility. My obsession for translating ideas into action has driven me to help facilitate not only my dreams but the dreams of others.
