As a Dean’s Graduate Student Honor Roll recipient for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 at Seattle University, I have cultivated a strong foundation in cutting-edge technologies, with coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Architecture and Design, Cloud Computing, and Distributed Systems.

As a Software Engineering Fellow at Headstarter AI, I developed an advanced academic chatbot along with my team, collaborating remotely while leveraging LlamaIndex, Chainlit, and ReAct. The chatbot was designed to engage and empower over 1,000 students and researchers. By implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with OpenAI’s cutting-edge models, I ensured real-time, highly relevant responses, enhancing the user experience. I also crafted an intuitive conversational interface, driving user engagement and adoption, positioning the platform as a leading-edge tool in academic support.

I mentored refugees and underprivileged students through the International Rescue Committee (IRC), enhancing my teaching skills while serving the community. This experience allowed me to communicate complex ideas effectively and support learners in their growth.

At Deloitte, I migrated a customer service database from Informix-4GL to PostgreSQL, improving overall data management. I developed a Charging Station Management System using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure DevOps with CI/CD capabilities, enhancing query performance and securing authentication through OAuth and JWT. Additionally, I collaborated with cross-functional teams and created a plugin for Oracle SQL Developer to automate SQL query generation, boosting user efficiency. I also built an IntelliJ plugin to automate Java file creation, streamlining development workflows and reducing manual work.

Assisted in implementing dynamic token generation for a custom API in Power BI, ensuring up-to-date data retrieval and facilitating more efficient data analysis. Developed scripts for dynamic token generation, configured Power BI, and thoroughly tested the process, significantly reducing manual effort.

Volunteered with the Aashman Foundation, where I worked to support underprivileged women, contributing to various initiatives aimed at improving their quality of life and providing essential resources.
