In this project, I am working as a Senior Solutions Architect for the migration of a on-premise Data Warehouse environment into AWS Redshift, with S3 as the Data Lake. As part of this migration, the whole tech stack is being modernized where:1) Legacy Informatica Power Center workloads are being migrated to IICS workloads2) BTEQs are being rewritten as Stored Procedures3) Scheduling platform is being upgraded4) Data governance platforms are being introduced5) New set of DevOps practices are being introducedI work upon creating the roadmap with the Product Owner and also execute the migration in an agile implementation with multiple agile teams.

In this project, I focused on building a master data management repository for American Red Cross by aggregating customer data from various departments like Fundraising, BioMed, Public Health and Safety, Volunteering and Marketing. This Customer Data Integration (CDI) initiative enabled a 360 degree view of over 95 million individuals, 3 million organizations and acts as a pivotal premium data provider for several business functions at American Red Cross. Some of the project highlights that I helped engineer and manage include: Customer data identification via leading 3rd party data service provider Customer data enrichment, including monitoring and segmentation data points via several data service providers Implementing match merge algorithms and survivorship rules Address standardization and DPV checks via ETL tools/ plugins, Email assessments via leading data service providers Single best version of the truth for marketing communications & BO reporting Organization rollups via Fortune 1K lists Scoring algorithms to assess the data quality Manual stewardship and research tool built on .NET platform Reporting solution built on BO Webi platformSome of my day-to-day responsibilities include: ScrumMaster who collaborates with the business stakeholders, IT executives, solution architects, developers and test team on a daily basis Manage, monitor and control agile development sprints Serve as SME on all technical aspects of the master data management repository Develop and deliver over 40 integrations (INFA, Teradata BTEQ and Teradata Stored Procedures) Conduct design/ code reviews and test the integrations Release management and production support Manage an offshore development team of 8 resources

In this project, I focused on centralizing all the disparate fundraising data sources at American Red Cross, both at National Head Quarters and at chapters all over the US into a unified data warehouse that eventually streamlined the Fundraising business operations, eased reporting and enabled centralized marketing. Some of my contributions to the project are: Worked with the business stakeholders and end users to gather the requirements for the fundraising subject area data model Worked on reference data cleanup and standardization Defined ETL architecture using Informatica 9.5 (using Teradata Parallel Transport and Push Down Optimization load operators) Developed system integrations using Informatica PowerCenter to pull in major gift donors and fundraiser’s activities from the NHQ major donor CRM system (Salesforce) and to pull in fundraising constituents and financial information from the NHQ sub-ledger system (Oracle based product) Lead the conversion factory development that shall load the constituent and financial donation data from 80+ SQL server databases pertaining to American Red Cross chapters all over the US Managed an offshore development team of 4 resources
