In this 6-month programme, I was trained to work in a real manufacturing industry environment and was monitored by professional Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) from Lufthansa. I fabricated multiple projects which requires high precision while working with multiple heavy-duty machines such as drilling machine, bending machine, and milling machines. The three major projects were fabricated with accuracy as per manual requirements. The projects included simulation of aircraft parts, such as Power Supply Unit, Auxiliary Power Unit, Wing Flap Mechanism, all scaled down 100:1 from the actual size. While we were instructed to put different electrical components and wires onto a breadboard I figured there was a better layout design compared to the professors, I decided to propose the design and in the end it was eventually used as a new simpler design. I was then awarded “Award of Excellence” for my outstanding performance during the training.Acquired hands-on skills by fabricating projects with accuracy as per manuals requirements.
