I am a current School Psychology PsyD candidate at the University of Albany. I earned a graduate assistantship as part of my acceptance to the program. In this role, I work in the Coxsackie-Athens School District helping with the implementation of the Spring Math curriculum based measurement program, data collection, progress-monitoring, and administrative tasks. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University - New Brunswick School of Arts and Sciences with a major in Psychology and a minor in Education. I have extensive experience in the care of children and adolescents as well as clinical experience working as a Behavioral Therapist at Star Therapeutics and Encore Support Services. I was an undergraduate Field Research Assistant with the "Social Emotional and Character Development Lab" (SECD) working on the implementation and research of Social-Emotional Learning topics. I was part of an Interdisciplinary Research Team which aimed to create a mental health curriculum for middle school students in Union Middle Schools. I completed a year-long community wellness internship under the Rutgers CAPS Community-Based Counselor Dana Simons at Rutgers Hillel in the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters and then went on to co-found a Mental Health Advocacy Club and initiative at Rutgers Hillel. I served on the executive student board of Rutgers Chabad House as Co-President and Director of Women's Programming. I completed an internship at Child Day Behavioral School, an intensive outpatient therapy and day school facility for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health issues, in the Spring 2022 semester. I hope to use these experiences and the valuable skills I have gained to pursue a professional career as a Psychologist.

Student InternRutgers Child Day School Jan 2022 - May 2022Rutgers UniversityIn this role, I was placed in a classroom with children aged 8-11 years old. I assisted the teacher with daily lessons and assisted students with completing assignments. I participated in weekly treatment team meetings during which the program coordinator, clinicians, specialists, teachers, OT staff, and Vice Principal evaluated student's progress and case planning.
