Met een klein team geven we vorm aan de uitvoering van het beleid van het Dinamo Fonds. Daarbij analyseer en beoordeel ik projectaanvragen die betrekking hebben op het herstel van de biodiversiteit en het cultuurlandschap in Nederland en in het Caribisch gebied. De aanvragers zijn van uiteenlopende aard en hun projecten behoren tot één van de drie sectoren; dieren(welzijn), natuur(behoud) & landschap en monumentaal erfgoed.

Als Steenbreekadviseur draag ik de missie van Stichting Steenbreek een warm hart toe: onnodige verharding plaats laten maken voor groen.Iedereen snapt dat meer groen in de tuin en openbare ruimte beter is voor het klimaat. Steenbreek is opgericht met een missie: dat we (van bewoner tot bestuurder) ons actiever inzetten om onze leefomgeving in Nederland duurzaam te vergroenen. En dat doen we met 10 provincies en 170 gemeenten om tot de volgende positieve effecten te komen:• Waterafvoer - Wateropvang via de tuingrond gaat overstroming van het riool tegen• Koelte - Groen is fris in de zomer en vermindert opwarming en hittestress• Natuurbehoud en biodiversiteit - Groen houdt belangrijke ecosystemen in leven• Prettige leefomgeving – Meer groen bevordert sociale cohesie en de gezondheid
