Student at Oregon State University, Mechanical Engineering - Class of '25I have had first hand experience working in an engineering office setting. I've learned valuable skills of communication, teamwork, workplace etiquette, and professionalism during my current tenure. Most of the AutoCAD work pertains to civil and architectural projects where I incorporate bearings, topography, water lines, gas lines, power lines, property lines, etc. in my drawings. Regarding Excel, I have used it to organize data for our company like invoices, submittals, RFI's, etc. I've worked under several mentors, including P.E.’s, project managers, project engineers, design specialists, and engineering technicians. I've also gained experience in LiDAR, point clouds, implementation of illumination, wind, seismic, shearline diagrams, road, sidewalk, utility improvements, grade revisions, fire evacuation and safety plans.As for my current education at Oregon State University, I am involved in the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers Club which I plan to pursue for my senior Capstone project, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club, Golf Club, and Disc Golf Club. I've also been able to gain a wealth of experience collaborating on different projects during my school career, one example includes collaborating on the construction of a tandem bicycle using Siemens NX with a few of my peers. We made a cohesive plan to create all necessary models to construct the bike with proper tolerances and fits, followed by creating an assembly to fit the bike together. We then made a presentation with a proposed company name and vision. Another example was completely revisioning a Medina, Washington estate into using clean solar energy via GIS mapping and several calculations which we then presented.
