As an African American Health Sciences major at Howard University, my journey is deeply rooted in my commitment to making a meaningful impact in the field of allied health, with a specific focus on dentistry. My academic pursuits at Howard have provided me with a robust foundation in health sciences, coupled with a passion for addressing healthcare disparities and increasing representation in allied health spaces.I am fueled by a profound desire to bridge the gap for African Americans in allied health, particularly in the field of dentistry. My experiences and coursework have not only equipped me with the technical knowledge required for success in allied health but have also instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility to contribute to the diversification of healthcare professions.My commitment to this mission extends beyond the classroom.
