- Provide leadership and supervision for a multicultural population of about 500 students within the residence hall- Supervise and support one graduate assistant coordinator as well as co-supervise a staff team of 11 resident assistants and resident learning assistants- Serve as conduct administrator and adjudicate student conduct cases that occur within on-campus housing- Participate in the recruitment, selection and training of student staff members- Support and advise an internal residential hall council- Interact with students on a daily basis; providing information and assistance concerning academic issues, peer conflicts, personal problems, etc.- Compile various reports, maintain records, and oversee check-ins, checkouts and room changes- Manage Community Coordinator program account and community social and educational funds- Coordinate break housing and prepare and execute building openings, closings and transitions- Maintain key inventory, including ordering and managing any needed key replacements- Participate in departmental 24/7 on-call duty and emergency response system for the on campus community- Participate in and help support departmental committees geared toward various areas such as Full Time Hiring or Student Staff Development
