Design Engineer in my second year of the Dyson Graduate Scheme. During this time I have achieved:- Work on complex general assembly CAD in Siemens NX- Development of robust test methods and test rigs through with Arduino, Matlab and Minitab Skills- Presented ideas to company leadership, with positive reception- Travelled to the Dyson head office in Singapore to complete priority work package.

As a sound and lighting freelancer in events industry, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of companies and projects. A few of my favourites are:- LX2 at a 20,000 person bespoke festival, working with big name artists- Developing the 'QMU Live' series of events and digital experience during the pandemic- Operating lighting rigs at a variety of clubs in Glasgow- Design, set up and running of sound rigs at wedding events.

As Technical Convenor, I lead the technical team at the Queen Margaret Union, a historic 1200 capacity music venue, and one of the University of Glasgow's Student union. As Tech Convenor, some of my proudest achievements were:- Transition of the team from student volunteers to paid positions - I lead conversations with stakeholders to fund training of the student technical team, then the employment of the trained students at market rate- Freshers' Week 2019. As tech con, I spec'd, implemented and managed the technical side of Freshers' Week '19. This involved 9 nights of student clubbing/gigging, and a variety of day-time events.- Acquisition of new members - I ran introduction events to introduce the sound, lighting and events industries to potential new members of the team. This brought in new members, who after completing training have gone on to lead the team.

I worked as an intern at LissieLou over the summer of 2019. I took on a product design role, helping to create a new product range as well as manufacturing existing products. I designed graphics and took product photographs for the website.
