As a Volunteer at the GLBT Historical Society Museum, located in one of the most famous gay-borhoods in the world, I have the privilege of encouraging the exploration and acceptance of Queer History around the world. As a volunteer, my main duties focus around Front of House experience — welcoming and greeting museum guests, answering any questions about the museum or the Historical Society itself, ticket sales and merchandise sales, as well as the general cleanliness and maintenance of the museum which does include the exhibition sections and bathroom facilities.
