- Provide leadership, vision, and the day-to-day management of operations, programs and fundraising activities. - Build and manage critical relationships with key constituencies such as, families, donors, community partners, local schools, students, staff and IHDF National; reporting directly to the Board of Directors.- Chief Fund Development Officer, working in collaboration with the board to create a fund development strategy which identifies prospective funding sources across diverse channels.- Crafts all grant proposals in collaboration with a grant writer, and submits all grant reports.- Executes all fundraisers and special events.- Serves as spokesperson to promote community awareness of IHDF-LA.- Leads the planning and execution of all aspects of the IHDF-LA programs, including high quality academic, enrichment and SEL programs, mission-aligned policies and organizational systems.- Spearheads program evaluation and leads continuous improvement efforts.- Establishes and maintains sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with partner schools, community groups, and organizations that can contribute to IHDF’s program and participants.

- Served as a supportive mentor to provide resources for each Dreamer Scholars’ academic and personal lives for the past 14 years. - Successfully graduated two Inglewood Cohorts from first grade through high school graduation. - Sponsored third Inglewood Cohort at Frank D. Parent Elementary School.- Developed, coordinated, and implemented a wide range of age-appropriate after-school program, summer program, and Saturday Academy activities (i.e., academic, college and career preparation, social-emotional, recreational, community service, and cultural enrichment activities) for elementary, middle, and high school Dreamer Scholars.- Provided College Prep and Career Readiness to high school seniors. - Assisted and supported high school seniors with College & FAFSA applications.- Trained and executed the “College Path” curriculum to recruit volunteers to assist our seniors with their college personal statements.- Trained and implemented the “Opportunity Network” curriculum senior year to prepare our Dreamer Scholars for college in Fall 2018.- Planned and facilitated parent meetings and parent workshops such as the “Families in School’s Transition to College” to provide further support. - Built from the ground up our “Work is Success Internship Program” for 3 years. Created lesson plans to support our Dreamer Scholars to produce resumes and cover letters, workshops on workplace communication, professional dress, and mock interviews. Recruited companies within LA County to sponsor and/or provide placement for the Dreamer Scholars that completed our trainings. - Executed our Dreamer Action Plan (DAP), a personalized case management program that better supported our Dreamer Scholars individually during their high school years when they were scattered at 50+ high schools throughout LA County. - Managed budgetary allocations for Inglewood program, controlling expenses, submitting all financial records, diligently following all policies and procedures.
