I am a graduate from Winthrop University. I graduated in December of 2024 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. I graduated Cum Laude with a 3.5 GPA. Previously serving in the military, I was able to develop my leadership skills and apply them on a day-to-day basis. Working in a team environment where everyone has a say to be collaborative is a huge deal to me. I want everyone to feel a part of the team, and I think that's a very important skill I bring with me no matter the job I hold. When people feel included, it allows for a more welcoming work environment where everyone's opinions are considered and allows for more creativity as well. I was able to utilize this method while proudly serving in the United States Army and it made working with everyone more efficient and catered a more welcoming environment. I had the opportunity to work at Publix for quite some time, so I was also able to develop exceptional customer service skills and be able to talk to new people every day. Being able to make conversation with anyone and help them with whatever was the issue was part of my job every day, which quickly became habit and I excelled at. I currently work at Amazon, and I'm able to showcase my leadership capabilities by leading small teams in the warehouse which is always efficient. Being able to lead these teams allows management to see I am not only capable, but also reliable so direct supervision is not always needed. Management has learned to trust me and knows the team I lead can always get the job done.
