Contributed to developing a large-scale network web simulation capability to assist in risk-based cyber defensive strategies to counter enterprise-level cyber threats and increase global network situational awareness. The simulation research allowed researchers to effectively model network simulations using three high-performance computing (HPC) clusters which include Cab, Hera, and Catalyst. All three supercomputers were previously listed in the Top500 List of the fastest computers in the world.• Researched, developed and assisted in web traffic simulations and configurations using ns-3 to track web proportion requests• Analyzed web traffic requests for any given website while characterizing HTTP 3xx redirect behavior • Conducted and modified Python scripts to extract and parse through .DAT files of 98,000 website request and redirects to characterize the potential impact of network threats• Developed models to display redirect occurrences and graphical probability distributions between redirects and requests to assist in predicting defensive strategies without representing actual content bytes• Presented research findings to lab scientists who evaluated and considered my work mission critical

The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC), with funding provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia, is managing the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP). VSGC is a coalition of five Virginia colleges and universities, two NASA centers, state educational agencies, including the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and the Virginia Community College System, Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology, and other institutions representing diverse aerospace and high technology education, workforce development and research interests.
