I am Che, currently undertaking my studies in a Bachelor of Honours at the University of Johannesburg in the Geography of Environmental Management and Energy Studies. I am passionate about finding environmental and community based solutions in context of the Just Energy Transition. Over the past few years, I have dedicated my career towards the environmental sector and have gained valuable experience in climate smart-agricultural projects in a research and project management capacity. I have greatly enjoyed working with fellow colleagues that are just as passionate and committed towards creating a world that prioritises vulnerable people and is environmentally conscious. I am excited to conclude my research in understanding Working From Home (WFH) capacity within the Global South and to understand the adaptive capacity and a transition towards an alternative energy system that is socially just. My academic and professional experience has led to me growing as an individual that prioritises reliability and taking on challenges using innovative solutions. I am looking forward to what the future holds and continuing to contribute to create change as an environmental and community enthusiast!
