This project aimed to Empty the evaporation pond of 8 Acres in an area having pH 1 and the constituents of EDC, HCl, VCM, etc. by employing different techniques. In this regard, I proposed different methods to empty the E-Pond having different pros and cons. I selected the Mechanical Evaporator. In this way, I had to calculate the Normal rate of Evaporation (Using Meyer’s Formula), Aided rate of evaporation, ROI, Time required to empty the E-Pond, etc. This project was presented to the G.M., Managers, Mentors, etc. and they all acknowledged my effort in that regard.
