These not only involve the assessments themself but also the identification of risk reduction opportunities and potential environmental impact. At a higher level, I have several yeras of experience in the familiarization with different regulatory frameworks at early stages of the projects, preparation of tenders, discussion of safety requirements with clients and regulatory bodies, leading roles in the preparation of Safety Assessment Reports, and safet class qualification tasks,among others.

Lead engineer of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis team responsible of the preparation, revision and update of PALLAS-reactor PSA. This assessment includes the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 PSA at all Plant Operational States. Tasks included identification of initiating events, sequence analysis, construction of systems analysis, severe accident progression and dispersion models among other lower level activities. Leading the PSA team, external consultants and the client's revision requires a complete understanding of all safety related systems as well as normal and accidental plant behaviour. It also requires the capability of discussing with lead engineers of almost all other engineering fields and team building skills.Therefore, my expertise is not limited to the PSA field but also to a wide understanding of plant behaviour, Neutronics, heat transfer, Thermo-hydraulics, mechanical engineering, atmospheric dispersion dynamics, safety requirements interaction, regulatory framework and safety related standards.
