I have been designing, building, managing and supporting some of the largest and most complicated Checkpoint environments in the Midwest for the last 10 years. During the past year, I have been the primary engineer for managing one of the largest Provider-1 environments in Illinois. As part of my responsibilities, I designed and implemented a complete best practices migration and upgrade initiative that involved 160 enforcement points and a redundant P-1 management infrastructure.In addition, the project included a significant migration to Cisco ASA resulting in a Checkpoint/Cisco hybrid environment.

• Designed, installed and managed 8 Checkpoint firewalls.• Configured and automated the install of 1000 SecureClients.• Managed the “Work at Home” project.• Configured, managed and installed over 100 Sofaware appliances. Have extensive experience with Sofaware.• Installed and administered the ISA-Websense proxy.• Managed the Blackberry project. Installed the BES server and configured 50 Blackberry’s. When I completed the project there were over 450 Blackberry users globally.• Set up several site-to-site VPNs with other large companies, financial institutions and remote office sites globally.• Have some admin experience configuring and supporting EMC, EDM, Nokia and F5.
