Jeff Cook is a professional chef with over 50 years of experience helping restaurants, caterers, and hotels grow and prosper. Started out as an 11-year-old apprentice in a New York hotel kitchen and went on to train under numerous chefs around the globe to eventually become an Executive Chef and Chef de Tournant. He has worked in various levels of hospitality, from dishwashers to high-level management, and has cooked for celebrities, two Presidents, three Vice Presidents, two Governors, and multiple Senators and Representatives at various political debates and corporate events. He has catered dozens of weddings, and private parties, domestically and internationally. He worked as a private chef on two 50-meter yachts and has tons of stories to tell about the uber-rich and their parties. His catering company, Cooks' Catering in Mountain View, California was chosen to serve the multiple entertainers and crew at The Oldies but Goodies Concert in the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California, and was the caterer for entertainers and crew at Circle Star Theatre in Redwood City, California. He has served such celebrities as Sammy Davis, Jane Russel, Frank Sinatra, George Carlin, and many more.He built and operated three restaurants plus a catering business in the San Francisco Bay Area He was offered the position of Executive Chef at Weight Watchers of America, and a TV show featuring him as Number 1 Chef but reluctantly had to decline due to the demands of running his restaurant businesses. Being empirically trained, he dreamed of attending the famous Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris, France, where he finally achieved certification in 2018.His passion for cooking is evident in his dishes, which feature bold flavors and creative techniques he acquired working, consulting, training, or teaching in seventeen countries and over fourteen states. Jeff loves to experiment with new ingredients and incorporate global flavors and techniques into his creations. He also enjoys teaching others and sharing his hospitality industry experience. Jeff has extensive business knowledge and leadership skills which have been honed over the course of his career. As an insatiable learner, Jeff's education includes a Bachelor of Science, an MBA in Sales with minors in Business Administration, Finance & Marketing, a General Contractors license in California, A Real Estate license in South Carolin, Somallier certification, a Multi-engine airplane and balloon Pilot rating, sailplane pilot rating, Le Cordon Bleu certification, plus dozens more of other certifications and awards.
