Since I was a young boy I have always helped my mother with the cooking for our family. I found food fascinating. The excitement and experimentation of mixing various herbs,spices,ingredients and combinations of those different elements was not just a challenge but an adventure. I enjoyed being creative whether cooking or plating a dish. For me, even the plating is like an artists' rendition of the masterpiece. Many hours of watching Master Chef's on the television and their various cooking shows, perhaps, was the greatest inspiration for my choosing to be a chef as my profession in life. Watching these talented men and women at their craft and the wonderful results only seemed to confirm to me that is what I have always wanted to do.I have set serious goals for myself and believe I have the imagination and creativity needed to produce a fine dining experience. I would like to explore all avenues related to food and presentation, also extending my knowledge to different cultures, the different foods they produce, and how food reflects that most diverse world we live in. I am confident that I can make significant contributions to the culinary industry. Creative, enthusiastic, and a commitment to hard work and just a few of my attributes which have been recognized by those I have worked for. My passion is to create signature dishes one day that will be known as my own within the culinary community. I hope that becomes just one hallmark of my career in my chosen profession. Dining should be a memorable experience. not merely a simple task that one needs to complete. combining all my attributes and love for food, I am sure that I will be an asset to the culinary industry as we both continue to grow and seek a high standard of excellence.
