About Dan Berger
I have extensive experience in the Food and Beverage industry, spending years in both back of house and front of house positions. Additionally, over half my time has been spent in a supervisor/managerial role. I began my culinary career as a dishwasher and worked my way to Sous Chef at the first restaurant I helped open. I have at this point helped open three kitchens/restaurants and spent time as Sous chef and Executive chef in multiple kitchens. I made the transition to Front of House, pouring beer, wine, and cocktails behind the bar of Other Half (FLX). I feel i am an extremely well-rounded individual at this point in my career and have really found my passion working with products I believe in, and helping people find joy in those products.

Over the 4+ years i was there, i worked my way up through every position in the kitchen, until making Sous Chef in early 2018. i was responsible for Team Leadership, overseeing all Prep work, Product management and inventory, ordering product, menu development, specials, etc. I left on excellent terms to go and run my own kitchen.
